We are pleased to announce that Drs. David Rhoads and Donald Pomeroy are one of the first orthopedic surgeons in Louisville area performing Outpatient Total Knee, Total Hip and Total Shoulder Replacements. This allows an individual to go home comfortably the same day as their surgery. Patients have stated they enjoy healing in their home environment without the typical disturbances that one usually encounters in a hospital setting. New medications and technology have allowed our patients to be comfortable without the side effects of high doses of pain medications.
Dr. David Rhoads routinely performs anterior approach total hip replacement, the least invasive approach for hip replacement. This allows for a smaller incision, less pain and faster recovery than typically seen with other surgical approaches. Click HERE to read more about anterior hip replacement.
Urgent Ortho clinic is now open at our Biggin Hill office location. This will enable individuals with acute orthopedic problems to be seen as a walk in basis. See URGENT ORTHO link for more details.
